I’m thrilled to announce that Highlander Unmasked is now available in stores, just in time for all that back to school shopping. So when you are loading up the cart at your favorite drug or superstore with pencils and notebooks, make sure to look for the second book in the MacLeod trilogy. You can also find it at bookstores and online.

Highlander Unmasked is the story of Alex MacLeod, a battle-hardened outlaw fighting against injustice and the demons of the past. But his mission is put in jeopardy when he crosses paths with Meg Mackinnon, a determined woman intent on uncovering his secrets. Can you believe a month has gone by since my first book, Highlander Untamed, hit the shelves? It’s been a very exciting four weeks for me. Not only did I get to see my first book in an actual bookstore, but it also hit the USA Today Best Seller list, debuting at #92! Thanks to all of you who helped by purchasing your copies in the first week (or two) of release. Make sure to check out the new deleted scenes and extended author’s notes from Highlander Untamed in the On the Cutting Room Floor section of Special Features.

I’ve started a new contest today that you won’t want to miss. Two lucky winners will each receive a DVD of the cult classic “Highlander” movie starring Christopher Lambert as “Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod.” I was very tempted to name one of my heroes Connor, but refrained.
